Building Nigeria's coordinated waste platform.

RECYDRAX brings modern waste-management services and a digital marketplace for recyclable materials into one coordinated system — starting in Ibadan, expanding across Oyo State, then nationwide.

What we stand for

Four commitments, on every transaction.

These are not marketing promises. They are the rules every listing, match, movement, and payment on RECYDRAX is measured against.

Free for generators

Waste generators list materials at zero cost. RECYDRAX only earns when a match is made and a sale completes.

Paid within 24 hours

Once a match is confirmed and materials are verified, payment is released within 24 hours — not month-end.

Withdraw from ₦1,000

Your wallet balance is yours. Withdraw any amount from ₦1,000 upwards, as often as you like.

RECYDRAX coordinates

Recyclers and aggregators never collect directly from generators. Every movement is arranged by RECYDRAX.

Oyo State

Where we work.

Ibadan is the third most populous city in Nigeria and the state capital of Oyo State. The commercial and administrative heart of the South-West — and where RECYDRAX begins.

Why we start in Ibadan

Four reasons Ibadan comes first.

Every successful national platform starts somewhere specific. For RECYDRAX, that place is Ibadan — the largest, most active, most consequential city in Oyo State.

01

The largest urban centre in Oyo State

Ibadan is the third most populous city in Nigeria and the state capital. Any waste-management solution that works must start here — the volume, the density, and the infrastructure pressure are all concentrated in one place.

02

The most active enforcement environment

House-to-house bin enforcement, mobile environmental tribunals, and the 44-acre recycling facility are all anchored in Ibadan. Our operations align with what the state is already doing.

03

The strongest supply of recyclable materials

Households, businesses, estates and institutions across Ibadan generate the largest continuous stream of recoverable material in the state. This is where generator density is highest.

04

A proven coordination model

By perfecting the coordination model in Ibadan — pickup, sorting, matching, movement, payment — we build the playbook that unlocks every other city in Nigeria.

Oyo State waste policy

What the state is already doing.

RECYDRAX operates inside an active regulatory environment. Oyo State is enforcing mandatory waste management and prosecuting environmental offenders — and we are built to align with it.

Mandatory waste bins

Every residential and commercial building in Oyo State is required to have appropriately sized waste bins, and the state is actively enforcing this.

Authorised collectors only

Residents and businesses must patronise government-accredited Private Sector Participants (PSPs) and keep up with monthly service payments.

Mobile environmental tribunals

Illegal dumping, open defecation, and misuse of market skip bins are prosecuted through mobile courts — with penalties including fines around ₦40,000, community service, or brief imprisonment.

Waste-to-wealth initiatives

The state is developing a 44-acre recycling facility to process waste from Ibadan and surrounding areas into electricity, bio-cooking gas, and fertiliser.

Public education

Authorities are educating schools and youths on plastic recycling and sustainability through initiatives like Mottainai Recycling Ltd.

The challenge we are solving

Indiscriminate dumping on road medians, in drains, and along flood paths remains persistent — especially outside core urban centres — driven by infrastructure gaps, public apathy, and affordability concerns.

RECYDRAX operates within the applicable regulatory environment and does not replace OYOWMA or other relevant government authorities. Where Oyo State requirements apply, collection and evacuation follow applicable requirements, including the use of government-accredited PSPs.

Our expansion path

From one city to the whole country.

Four phases. Each one proves the model at the next scale — before we expand again.

Phase 01

Ibadan Metro

11 Ibadan LGAs — Ibadan North, North-East, North-West, South-East, South-West, plus Oluyole, Ona Ara, Egbeda, Lagelu, Akinyele and Ido. Full waste-service + marketplace coverage.

Phase 02

Oyo State coverage

Expand into the remaining 22 LGAs — Oyo, Ogbomoso, Saki, Iseyin, Ibarapa, Oke-Ogun, Orelope, Irepo, Kajola and others. Fully operational across all 33 LGAs of Oyo State.

Phase 03

South-West Nigeria

Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti — the densest waste-generating corridor in Nigeria. RECYDRAX as the regional recovery network.

Phase 04

National network

Nationwide deployment — every major Nigerian city connected to a single coordinated waste-management and recyclable-materials platform.

Phase 01 — Ibadan Metro LGAs

Ibadan North Ibadan North-East Ibadan North-West Ibadan South-East Ibadan South-West Oluyole Ona Ara Egbeda Lagelu Akinyele Ido

Phase 02 — Remaining Oyo State LGAs

Afijio Atiba Atisbo Ibarapa Central Ibarapa East Ibarapa North Irepo Iseyin Itesiwaju Iwajowa Kajola Ogbomoso North Ogbomoso South Ogo Oluwa Olorunsogo Orelope Ori Ire Oyo East Oyo West Saki East Saki West Surulere

Our vision is a cleaner Nigeria — one coordinated city at a time.

A country where waste is managed responsibly from every household, where recoverable materials always find a buyer, and where the people who generate value from recyclables are paid fairly and quickly. Starting in Ibadan. Ending nationwide.
